Company History

My Movers, Inc has been helping families and businesses move to all Michianna areas including, Chicago, Kalamazoo, Detroit, Indianapolis, South Bend, and Granger for close to 40 years. We are a family-owned and operated business providing our customers with high-quality, full service movers at affordable prices. Our team of professional movers and packers is committed to providing all of our customers with courteous and timely service.

My Movers was started in 1974 by Mr. Tom Leitke, a Vietnam veteran who served as an airborne Ranger in the US Army. At the start, My Movers had one rental truck and one employee. In 1980, My Movers grew to the largest independent mover with twelve trucks, 35 employees, and the addition of a large warehouse. In 2001, Leitke, a family man, took several years off and devoted those years strictly to raising his children. My Movers was started up again in 2009.

My Movers, Inc is a member of the Better Business Bureau and a member of AMSA, the American Moving and Storage Association.
